Feelin' GREAT!!!

Lately...I've been Feelin' GREAT!!!
And I believe these are the reasons why...

Firstly...Weather.
Calgary's weather, as of late, has been warm and steady (avg +11c (50f)).
I find when a 'front' moves in, and the weather changes is when I have my 'off' days.
Forecast calls for nice weather till next week...Wahoo!

Secondly...Physio Therapy.
It's been 1 month of regular physio. I've been getting a GOOD 1 hour workout 4x a week and Cindy (my PT) thinks my flexibilty is amazing for someone who has been diagnosed with ALS as long as I have.

Thirdly...Protein.
To build muscle, the body needs protein.
Added drinking a Protein Shake (BH...They're 'Glute' FREE) 2-3x a day, last week, to my daily regimin.

Fourthly...Reiki.
Over the last month, I've been having weekly visits by a friend who practices Reiki (and other therapies). To describe the experience(s), I can only say...WOW!
Here's an example of what I felt/experienced in a session 2 weeks ago...
  • when he first started and put a crystal on my third eye(Chakra point on the forehead)...I felt like I was watching myself on the table and there was a beam of intense light (full colour spectrum) connecting my third eye to the sky above.
  • at times the crystal on my third eye felt like it weighed 10 lbs
  • other times I couldn't feel it at all
  • once, when he was at my feet, the crystal felt like a pin through my head and my entire body was spinning around it.
  • when he held my feet - for a moment it felt like I was floating on air and his hands were grounding me.
  • I felt a lot of warmth/heat in various parts of my body throughout the session.
  • my hands/fingers had a tingly (pins and needles) feeling the entire session.
  • at one point I felt the need to scream...but, physically, wasn't able to.
  • the word 'Bacon' kept coming to me...(???)
  • throughout the session I kept hearing "Don't worry, it's just a test. It'll be alright."
It was an amazing experince.

Last, but not least...Glyconutrients.
In light of all the information I've read and/or posted on the subject, with the disappearance of my (minor) chronic maladies and the way I'm feeling as a 'whole'...
I believe my Glyconutrients are helping.
I received this snippet in an email this past week:
It's important to realize that changes with glyconutrients take time.
You have trillions of cells in your body.
It takes TIME to repair and regenerate them.
Persistence and Patience!
My whole approach has been just that...Persistence and Patience!

Lately...
I've been feeling a lot more confident and stable while standing and walking. I have more energy. My motivation to do more, is increasing. My overall health (emotional, spiritual, physical (despite the ALS)) is better.
This is the best I've felt in YEARS!

I must be doin' sumthin right.

I can accept my diagnosis, I won't own the disease.
